Elevator Control Switches
All Current ECS Disconnect controller is designated to intercept the source on incoming AC power for single cable or hydraulic elevator upon a signal from the FACP (fire alarm control panel). The primary reason is to minimize the risk of electric shock caused by water released from fire alarm sprinkler systems.
The ECS system is a completely integrated power controller designed to meet NFPA 70 (NEC) NFPA, ANSI/ASME A17.1 (safety code for elevators and escalators), as well as NFPA13 (sprinkler system) and other state and local jurisdiction requirements for AC power for elevators.
